Situated 150 metres from bus stop, access
is along a level footpath.
- Lewes train station is 6 miles
distance.
- Uckfield train station is 4 miles
distance.
- Cabs are available from outside both
stations.
Access to the Property:
Access to Tamberry Hall is down a brick paved driveway with
signage on both sides of the entrance.
The driveway is lit by low energy lighting
activated by sensors.
Parking for 3 cars in marked bays for bed
and breakfast guests.
Parking in designated bay for
self-catering guests.
Assistance with luggage is offered on arrival.
From parking area there are 4 x15cm steps with handrail up to front
path approaching the entrance, where there is a 15cm step up into
the porch, with an 18cm step up into the house.
Entrance to Tamberry Hall:
The entrance vestibule has oak flooring with a large rug.
There is a ground floor wc with hand
basin, and tiled flooring.
The stairway is carpeted and has two
flights of 6 x 20cm steps with a half-landing.
On the first floor there are 2 rooms along
a carpeted hallway to the left, a further room is to the right along
a galleried landing.
The hallways are lit by sensor activated
low energy lighting.
There is emergency lighting along hallways
and stairs.
The hallways are lit 24 hrs a day.
Breakfast:
Breakfast is served in the spacious ground floor dining room, which
has oak flooring, a table seating 8, with upholstered wooden chairs.
Special diets are catered for, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten
free, dairy free.
The Gardens:
The gardens are accessed via the front entrance, along the level
pathway to the rear of the property.
There is a large paved patio area with
tables and chairs with parasols, alpine sinks and planters.
There are various garden “rooms” with
benches, lawns, flower beds with statuary and pergolas, water
features, greenhouses with cacti and succulents, and a gravelled
Mediterranean garden.
Bedrooms:
Bedroom one has a double 4’6” bed.
Fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table with stool,
bedside cabinets.
En-suite shower room with 14cm step up to shower with 14cm ledge
into large shower cubicle with sliding glass doors.
Bedroom two has a double 4’6” bed.
Fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table with stool,
bedside cabinets.
En-suite bathroom with bath ( 60cms height ) shower over, with glass
shower screen.
Bedroom three has a double 4’6” bed, also a single 3’ bed.
Fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table with stool,
bedside cabinet.
En-suite shower room with 14cm step up to 16cm ledge into large
shower cubicle with folding glass door.
All bedrooms have:

provided by special request.

General information.
Tamberry Hall is a non-smoking establishment.
There is an Air Filtration system throughout the property, whereby
all dust and pollen is removed from the incoming air and delivered
to all rooms 24 hours a day, and removing stale air.
The atmosphere therefore is constantly
fresh and clean, thus removing draughts and the necessity to open
windows.
This system is particularly beneficial to
hay fever, asthma and allergy sufferers, the effects being felt
immediately.
Tamberry Hall cannot accommodate
wheelchairs, as the doors are narrow ( 66cms) wide.
No dogs except Guide/Aid dogs. Water bowl
can be provided.
